Ben Hogestyn, who only started airing on August 28th as Harry, has been taken off contract and bumped to
recurring status. According to Bell, the move isn't a permanent exit; he's giving the character a respite. Hogestyn, who wasn't included in the recent cast photo shoot, will become more prominent next spring. That said, Bell plans to get back to the basics of B&B. "I'm doing a storyline with Forrester Creations," Bell tells Weekly. "There's going to be a huge crisis there, with Nick and Jackie right in the middle of it. This will also have characters choosing sides." In December, "we're going to meet Stephanie's sister Pam, and her mother."

Dani Chuchran kommer spela en ung Stephanie Douglas (Forrester) den 28e och 30e November, samt 5e och 22a December.
Stephen O´Mahoney kommer att spela Stephanies pappa John Douglas.

Kyle Lowder som Rick Forrester passar inte alls enligt mig. Dåligt val.

Alley Mills (Pamela Douglas) har skrivit på kontrakt för Glamour och stannar alltså längre än planerat.

Kyle som Rick är ju ett uppköp utan dess like.Alla talar om denna recast.Det är Torkildsens veka porträtt som är fel.Han är ju den bästa recasten sedan McKenzie blev Pheebes.

DAYS Star To B&B

B&B has pulled a stunning actor switcheroo with the character of Rick Forrester. Justin Torkildson, who has portrayed Eric and Brooke's son since 1999 and even returned last November for a two-day reprisal, has been replaced with Kyle Lowder (ex-Brady, DAYS). "I have big shoes to fill but I'm rarin' to go," enthuses Lowder. "This is a very popular character, so I know that has its challenges. During my time on DAYS, my TV sister, Belle was recast and I saw what Martha Madison [Belle] went through during that process. I remember thinking, 'I'm glad that's not me.' Now I'm in that same boat. But I'm trying to be very forthright with B&B by saying, 'Look. I'm an open book,' in terms of advice as to what they want me to bring to the character, just so I can keep a consistency there. I want to make sure that I show respect to the history of the character." According to a setside source, Executive Producer/Head Writer Bradley Bell personally contacted Torkildsen to deliver the news. "Brad thinks very highly of him," says the insider. Kyle Lowder som Rick är ett utmärkt val, dock kommer jag sakna JT. KL är än riktig hunk precis som Jacob Young, när JY spelade Rick sjöng han även en del det kommer kanske bli så igen, Kyle Lowder är ju en otroligt begåvad sångare, dock kanske det blir lite komiskt om Rick plötsligt skulle brista ut i en opera, KL behärskar även den sortens sång. Tycker för övrigt att KL utseende mässigt passar att spela Brooke's son mycket mer än JT, och han är en väldigt duktig skådespelare, dock är jag inte så förtjust i hans karaktär i Days. Ska bli intressant att se honom som Rick.
